56th FSS

  The 56th Mission Support Squadron and 56th Services Squadron combined at Luke Air Force Base to form the 56th Force Support Squadron in a ceremony Feb. 26, 2009. The 56FSS provides full array of mission support products and services. Areas of responsibility include military personnel, civilian personnel, education services, Family Support Center, Airman Leadership School, and First Term Airman Center. The 56FSS is also responsible for enhancing quality of life by providing a range of mission supporting recreational, educational, and life sustaining activities. These include officer and enlisted clubs, dining facilities, fitness and bowling centers, library, community and outdoor recreation, youth and child development centers, lodging, mortuary affairs and honor guard programs in support of 93,000 military, civilian, retirees and family members.
